You must be reading this because you still don’t have a Nintendo Wii. Is it that you cant find one anywhere, or you just don’t have the $$ yet? It doesn’t really matter though, because Wendy’s is going to be giving them away in the Frosty Float Your Way To A Wii Giveaway. It will cost you $1.99, the price of a 20oz Frosty Float, but you have a chance to win 1 of 800 Wii’s, 1 of 800 Wii games or 1 of 800 Wii points cards(2000 Pts). They have added Wii support to their Google Reader. The new features include Larger text, and Wiimote functionality. This is also a good time to remind you of my RSS feeds found in the sidebar, or at the bottom of each post.

  • up/down: scroll up/down
  • right/left: next/previous item
  • 1 button: show subscriptions
  • 2 button: show links

When showing subscriptions:

  • up/down: previous/next subscription
  • right: select current subscription
  • left: close
  • -/+: collapse/expand folder

You can try it out here. You can use your keyboard keys as Wiimote buttons for testing
Its amazing how a game system can have such a big effect on the world.

The Nintendo Wii beat out the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 in sales.

US sales figures from market research company NDP Group show that the Wii continues to dominate sales of next generation consoles.

Sales information for March 4 to April 7 showed that 259,000 Wiis were sold, compared to 199,000 Xbox 360s and 130,000 Playstation 3s. – Gamer.Blorge.com

I knew from the start that the Nintendo Wii was going to be a killer system, but I didn’t think it had enough to beat out both the 360 and the PS3. Even more amazing is that it is still really hard to find a Wii in stock in stores. I am not what you call a hardcore gamer, and that’s the best thing about Nintendo; they make games fun for everyone. I going to pick up a copy of Super Paper Mario soon, the game looks so cool.

I am finally giving the browser a run through. It is easier then I thought it was going to be to type with the on-screen keyboard. Still I dont think I will be posting much with the Wii; as my computer is 5 feet away. There are a few online Wii friendly games I need to check out, but I will save that for another day.

Don’t worry, its not sick; its has a shiny new Opera web browser for you. In order to get the browser, you have to download the update sent to you, and you have to re-download the Opera browser.

New features include:

  • Faster start-up time
  • Search button added
  • text is clear, even when enlarged
  • you can now hide the tool bar to see even more of the screen

I haven’t really had time to test it out, but I did notice that it is a lot faster, then the previous version. Enjoy
