Last night was the last episode of Stan Lee’s Who wants to be a super hero? I have to say that I really enjoyed watching the show, but I think it should have lasted a bit longer. The whole series was only 6 episodes. 🙁 My pick to win from day one win was Major Victory. Sadly he only came in third, but I cant say that I was sad to see Feedback win. I cant wait to catch the SciFi channel TV movie that’s going to be made about Feedback. I hope they have another season of the show, but last a little longer.
Warner Brothers announced that its upcoming sequel to 2005’s hit Batman Begins will be called The Dark Knight and will feature Heath Ledger as the Joker.
Christopher Nolan is set to direct from a script by Jonathan Nolan, based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer, who both wrote the screenplay for the previous film. Christian Bale, who played Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Begins, will again play the Caped Crusader. Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Christopher Nolan will produce.
“I’m excited to continue the story we started with Batman Begins,” Christopher Nolan said in a statement. “Our challenge in casting the Joker was to find an actor who is not just extraordinarily talented, but fearless. Watching Heath Ledger’s interpretation of this iconic character taking on Christian Bale’s Batman is going to be incredible.” Production is set to begin on The Dark Knight in early 2007.
The Dark Knight appears to be an allusion to Frank Miller’s groundbreaking 1986 graphic novel Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, which redefined the character with a darkly psychological take and paved the way for subsequent comic and film interpretations of him, including Tim Burton’s gothic Batman film in 1989.

Heath Ledger as The Joker doesn’t sit well with me. After playing a gay cowboy, he lost all of my respect. But what can I do? He better at least lose his accent for the role, and come up with a voice that’s hopefully similar to the voice Mark Hamill used when he was the voice of the Joker in the Batman cartoons. With rumors of a total of 3 villains in this next movie, it is almost sure to be a great movie.
I am one of the biggest Batman fans of all time. I hope this movie doesn’t let me down.
The Princess Bride: One of my most favorite movies of all time. If you like the movie as much as I do, I think you will enjoy this re-enactment that this college film major made. He did a very good job.
A few years ago during the year of the .com; Discovery.com came out with 3 commercials that had to have been some of the funniest commercials I have ever seen. Every once in a while I would think about these commercials, then I would hop over to google in search of them, with very little luck. Today was one of those days; but today was different. I found one of the commercials, now all I need are the other 2. If you have a copy, or know where I can find the other 2, let me know. If I find the other 2 I will post them.
Below is the Discovery.com “hello mosquito” commercial
