I just noticed that I am at 100 posts, and this will be 101. I think it is fitting that the last post is my 100th.

I did all kinds of updates yesterday, plus I added 4 new plugins. I hope you like them.

Ok. Im not really banned from China, but my website is. Last night I found a site called Great Firewall of China, that tests to see if your site/blog is banned from China. I have to say, I am so proud of the fact that my site is banned. I must be doing something right.

Its nice to know that its worth something. Still It would be nicer if it were worth a lot more. That is something I have been trying to figure out for a while. It would be nice if my blog could pay for itself, but I guess I need visitors for my ads to do their job.

Simple question, right?

Its seems for me at least, that I have always had some type of website. When I first really started using the Internet back in 2001, after I was out of High School, I needed something to do to take up all of this extra time that I had. I made some cheap free websites then. Some of them are still out there floating around the Internet.

This time it all started with a gallery. I got into photography, and wanted a place where I could post my photos on the Internet. I found a place to host for around $4 a month or so, and found a gallery program called Gallery That lasted a year or so, until the host that I was using died. I still had my domain name registered, so I didn’t want to let the gallery die. So I started to use Powweb, after my uncle said that he uses it. I then set up a new gallery. That was all I figured I would ever need, until I saw a Tech TV program talking about blogs. It sounded like a good idea, so I immediately went looking for a blogging platform. It was then I found my Pride and Joy Wordpress, the best blogging platform in the whole wide world. That is where we are today. I use Wordpress plus a number of plug-ins to get my site the way it is now.

So why do I blog? I guess for me, its just another hobby. Somewhere for me to post my pictures, and write about sometimes stupid things that hardly anyone will read or even care about.

*side note* I cant really recommend Powweb as a host anymore. They got bought out by another company, and after that, their servers have sometimes been slow. If for some reason you do want to use Powweb as your host, please use me as your referrer. Just type in quiglag.com in the “Referred by” field.
