When you see on the news that companies are doing everything they can to hire illegal immigrants in order to use the cheaper labor; it is nice to see that some people still know the difference between right and wrong. Dunkin’ Donuts is volunteering in a government database program that verifies if workers are here legally. Sad thing is, only 6,200 out of the nation’s 8 million employers participate. Good for Dunkin’ Donuts, but that’s not all. After finding out that some of their franchisees were knowingly accepting false documents, false Social Security numbers and paid employees in cash, they decided to file lawsuits against the franchisees in federal court asking a judge to terminate the franchise agreements. Why cant more companies be like Dunkin’ Donuts?
Support companies, that support our Country.
