No surprise here, The NYTimes makes out guns to be the problem, and acts like the killer had no part.
Yesterday’s mass shooting at Virginia Tech — the worst in American history — is another horrifying reminder that some of the gravest dangers Americans face come from killers at home armed with guns that are frighteningly easy to obtain. - NY Times
I say this over and over. We need to stop this gun control, and allow people to carry their own weapons. One man vs unarmed people - the gunman has the odds. One man vs 26,000 armed students and teachers - everyone else has the odds.
The NYTimes even goes as far as blaming the Police for not stopping the second attack.
Tragically, the police assumed that was the end of it and thought the shooter might have left the campus and even the state. Two hours later a second, more lethal round of shooting claimed some 30 lives in an engineering building across campus.
Why would the Police have any reason to believe the shooter was still around 2 hours later in another building across campus? Its easy for the NYTimes to judge. They just write whatever they want, and get paid for it.
