What in the world are they thinking? I just saw on the news the other day, how Michigan houses that cost $500,000, are selling for $200,000+. You can buy a good looking 3 bed 2 Bath house for only $30,000. Now they want to give all the kids Ipods with your hard earned money. This is just crazy. Maybe Steve Jobs CEO of apple will refuse to sell to Michigan.
This is similar to what they are trying to do here in California. They want to give every new born child in California $500 to put in a college fund. They said that if the parents added $50 to it every month, the kid would have enough money to go to college. I don’t understand, if the parents can add $50 every month, why can’t they just pay for the college themselves. More info can be found here.
