Simple question, right?
Its seems for me at least, that I have always had some type of website. When I first really started using the Internet back in 2001, after I was out of High School, I needed something to do to take up all of this extra time that I had. I made some cheap free websites then. Some of them are still out there floating around the Internet.
This time it all started with a gallery. I got into photography, and wanted a place where I could post my photos on the Internet. I found a place to host for around $4 a month or so, and found a gallery program called Gallery 
That lasted a year or so, until the host that I was using died. I still had my domain name registered, so I didn’t want to let the gallery die. So I started to use Powweb, after my uncle said that he uses it. I then set up a new gallery. That was all I figured I would ever need, until I saw a Tech TV program talking about blogs. It sounded like a good idea, so I immediately went looking for a blogging platform. It was then I found my Pride and Joy WordPress, the best blogging platform in the whole wide world. That is where we are today. I use WordPress plus a number of plug-ins to get my site the way it is now.
So why do I blog? I guess for me, its just another hobby. Somewhere for me to post my pictures, and write about sometimes stupid things that hardly anyone will read or even care about.
*side note* I cant really recommend Powweb as a host anymore. They got bought out by another company, and after that, their servers have sometimes been slow.
