Al Gore on the VMA’s

Last night Al Gore was on the MTV VMA’s, spreading more of his rumors about global warming. He did a little speech while showing picture slides of places covered in ice 25 years ago, but now are melted. I’m not going to say that the earth isn’t getting hotter, but he is going a little to far in saying that people are the cause of it. Remember the good old days in middle school when the teachers talked about history of the earth? They said how the Ice Age came around, then it was gone. Are we to blame for that too? How about the Medieval Warm Period between 800 and 1300 AD the earth got warmer, and Europe thrived because of it. People lived longer because people were healthier. They were able to grow foods that they couldn’t grow before; life was good. Just after this, in the late 1300s came the mini ice age. So you can see a pattern here. The avg life of a male before Medieval Warm Period was between 35-38. In England in 1276 AD during the warm period the avg life was 48. England 1376-1400, The Mini Ice Age avg age was 38.
